Direct access to ProActive PACA-Grid for labs and SMEs outside INRIA Sophia Antipolis

The access to the PACA external Grid is secured using the SSH protocol. In order to gain access to the external Grid, PACA labs and SMEs must ask for SSH credentials to the grid administrator.

ProActive PACA-Grid clients are available for Macos X, Windows and Linux platform.
You can download the appropriate client from the download section.
ProActive PACA-Grid clients rely on java technology. To avoid any problem, you can use our JDK version. If you don know how to use this jdk to launch the web start client you can read the corresponding procedure in the tutorial section.

ProActive PACA Grid is an initiative which aims to provide a computing infrastructure powered by the ProActive Java middleware for research labs and SMEs located in the PACA region.

Within this project, we have provided a computational infrastructure for direct access from outside the INRIA Sophia Antipolis labs – the ProActive PACA external Grid. For the moment, the PACA external Grid aggregates a dedicated cluster of 60 computing nodes. Each node is equipped with a dual-processor quad-core AMD Opteron 2356 processing unit, or a quad-processor hexa-core Intel Xeon E4750 for a total of 688 cores.
